A song that reminds you of a certain event.
You may not know how much I love music from the 1950s. It’s how I was raised. I’m very lucky to have two music-loving parents who exposed me to tons of different artists and genres.
This song reminds me of my Dad and his cousins singing this together at a family gathering in West by God Virginia. I love my family.
And even though I don’t remember why we were gathered, the singing itself is the event.
People used to make records as in a record of an event, the event of people playing music in a room. – Ani DiFranco Fuel
Please excuse the typo in the video. It wasn’t my doing. The real title is All I Have to do is Dream
